In the heart of Delhi, nestled along the banks of the sacred Yamuna River, lies a serene sanctuary known as the Ancient Hanuman Temple. The Temple was established in 1907 by the monk of Varanasi named Shri Baba Laxman Giri Ji. He performed penance for a long time and established the idol of Shri Hanuman Ji. Shri Baba Laxman Giri Ji Maharaj guided countless people with his penance. Shri Baba Lakshman Giri Ji requested Commander(Senapati) Shri Mahant Atmanand Giri Ji to leave his disciple Shri Veer Giri Ji Maharaj in the ashram for service, to which Atmanand Giri Ji Maharaj accepted and ordered his disciple Shri Veer Giri Ji to remain in the service of Guru Maharaj. In 1942 Shri Baba Laxman Giri Ji attained the highest spirituality of human consciousness (Bramhalin) . After this, as per the tradition Shri Veer Giri ji Maharaj had to forward the tradition and he received the special blessings of Shri Hanuman Ji, and achieved many substantiations (siddhi) .

This sacred place, a nurturing hub for both nature and Sanskritik spirituality since its inception, continues to radiate spiritual energy today, evoking a palpable sense of divine presence. Shri Veer Giri Ji Maharaj had given initiation to Swaroop Giri Ji Maharaj as a disciple. Shri Atmanand Giri Ji Maharaj, Shri Guru Nepali Dada Ji Maharaj (Dada Darbar Jodhpur),  Shri Mahant Rishi Giri Ji Maharaj, Shri Badrish, Uttarakhand Rajguru Shri Mahant Godavari Giri Ji Maharaj, and many yogis used to do penance and meditation in this ashram temple during their stay in Delhi. Many Siddha Yogis used to visit the holy place of Shri Veer Giri Ji Maharaj and the place of blessings of Hanuman Ji. 

Shri Veer Giri Ji Maharaj attained the highest spirituality of human consciousness (Bramhalin) in the year 1983. At that time, Shri Swaroop Giri ji Maharaj was entrusted with the throne of the temple. He built the temple and Guru Samadhi and renovated the ashram with the cooperation of the Guru devotees. The temple is more than 100-year-old along with the idol of Hanuman Ji, there is also an ancient Shiva temple, a well, and the Samadhi of many Naga Sanyasis. Shri Swaroop Giri Ji Maharaj attained highest spirituality of human consciousness (Brahmalin) in 2003, and his Samadhi is also there in the Ashram. After that Shri Mahant Muneshwar Giri Ji was given the throne of the temple. Shri Mahant Muneshwar Giri ji established “Shri Baba Laxman Giri Ji Maharaj Hanuman Temple Trust” in 2007. Shri Muneshwar Giri Ji Maharaj appointed his position to his disciple Swami Kanchan Giri Ji Maharaj as the highest throne of the Ashram Temple in the year 2018. 

Swami Kanchan Giri Ji Maharaj, appointed as per Guru tradition, was already residing in the Ashram in Delhi. Mahant Swami Kanchan Giri Ji Maharaj changed the name of the trust to “Parmartham Hanuman Mandir Trust” in 2019, which is currently known as Ancient Hanuman Temple and Samadhi Parmartham Hanuman Mandir Trust.

In the year 2022, with the auspicious resolution of respected Swami Kanchan Giri ji and with the help of Dr.Thakur Rajeev Singh(Chairperson of Bestone Group), a huge 31 feet Hanuman ji statue was consecrated which today has become the center of attention of everybody. In which “Sunderkand Paath” is recited every Tuesday by Kanchan Giri ji with the auspicious resolution of Shri Kapil Tyagi ji (chairperson of Spine Infratech Pvt Ltd and Design9).

At present, with the inspiration of Swami Shri Kanchan Giri Ji Maharaj, Shri Kapil Tyagi ji has constructed Shri Guru Kripa Sant Kuti in accordance with the nature combined with antiquity and modernity, in which many sages and saints reside and are absorbed in the spiritual consciousness. of this place. Presently, under the guidance of Swami Kanchan Giri Ji, the temple and ashram are being maintained from time to time as per the tradition of the Vedas. It works on many types of projects, including natural conservation, modern development, spiritual development, cow service, worship, Satsang, etc.
